Introduction

Dihydroxybis(ammonium lactate) titanium(IV) (CAS 65104-06-5) is a pale yellow liquid that is completely soluble in water. It poses a slight hazard to aquatic environments; undiluted product must not be discharged into the environment. It must be stored in a sealed container in a cool, dry place, away from oxidising agents. Its aqueous solution is incompatible with alkali metals, reactive metals, and reactive organic and inorganic components. In practical applications, it serves as a titanium source for the hydrothermal synthesis of pure-phase platy titanite (TiO₂) to study photocatalytic activity and is used to prepare double-crosslinked network layer-by-layer self-assembled modified membranes with oil-water separation capabilities.

Product appearance: The appearance is clear and slightly hazy, light yellow to colourless transparent aqueous liquid.

Application

This product can be used as a catalyst for esterification and transesterification reactions; in water-soluble paints and polymer systems, it can enhance the cross-linking properties of paints, polymers and adhesives, forming an excellent gel protective layer; it can make the coating form a hard and smooth surface on materials such as glass, metal, fillers and pigments, enhance its viscosity, and improve the dispersion properties of pigments.

Packaging and Storage

It can be packaged in 5L, 20L, 210L plastic barrels/iron barrels or 1000LIBC barrels, or according to customer requirements.

Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place, moisture-proof and waterproof, away from fire and heat sources.
