Dispersant MF CAS 9084-06-4

Introduction

The chemical composition of Dispersant MF is sodium methylenebismethylnaphthalene sulfonate. Dispersant MF (CAS 9084-06-4) consists primarily of sodium methylenedimethylnaphthalenesulfonate, an anionic surfactant. It is a brown to black powder that is readily soluble in water. It is hygroscopic and exhibits excellent dispersibility and thermal stability. It is resistant to acids, alkalis, hard water, and inorganic salts; a 1% aqueous solution has a pH of 7–9.

Applications
Dispersant MF is used for dispersion, as a grinding dispersant and filler for standardization of vat dyes, and can also be used as a dispersant in the manufacture of dyes. In the printing and dyeing industry, it is mainly used for pad dyeing of vat dye suspensions, color-stabilizing acid dyeing and dispersion, and dyeing of soluble vat dyes. In the rubber industry, it is used as a stabilizer for latex, and in the leather industry, it is used as an auxiliary tanning agent. This product can be dissolved in concrete as a strong water reducer, which can shorten the construction period, save cement, save water, and increase cement strength.
