Introduction

N,N-Diethyl-3-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane is a colorless liquid with a slight sweet smell. It is a high purity, mono-functional, low viscosity and low volatility silicone fluid, which has excellent thermal stability and oxidation resistance. Furthermore, it is a highly efficient dielectric fluid with excellent electrical properties, such as dielectric strength, electrical conductivity, dielectric loss and dielectric constant.

Application 

1. As an additive or formulated into a primer, it is used in phenolic, urea-formaldehyde, furan, polyurethane, silicone, epoxy, nitrile, phenolic, acrylic and other coatings, inks, adhesives and sealants, resin sand casting, resin abrasives to improve the bonding strength and water resistance between resin and silica sand or abrasives;
2. In plastics, rubbers, resins and low-smoke halogen-free flame-retardant cable materials filled with mineral fillers or glass fibers to improve the dispersion and bonding of fillers and fibers in the resin phase;
3. Due to its aminosilane characteristics with no active protons, it has good system stability in single-component polyurethane, epoxy, and silicone adhesive systems;
4. Used to synthesize cationic organosilicon fungicides.
