Introduction
2,6-Dichloroindophenol sodium salt is an analytical dye used for the determination of vitamin C (ascorbic acid). When present, vitamin C is reduced to a colorless hydroxy compound. It is also used as an electron acceptor and stains glutathione reductase electrophoresis gels. It is classified as a redox indicator.
