Features and uses
MOCA is a commonly used aromatic diamine chain extender or curing agent, mainly used in cast polyurethane elastomers, plastic sports fields and courts, polyurethane waterproof coatings, polyurethane adhesives, foam plastics, etc. Polyurethane elastomers made with MOCA as a chain extender are widely used in machinery, construction, transportation (cars/ships/aircrafts/railways/roads/bridges), mining industry, electronic component sealing and insulation, defense industry and sports facilities manufacturing.
Type I fine MOCA is a high-purity MOCA, which is a colorless to slightly yellow transparent liquid after melting. It can be used to manufacture high-performance cast polyurethane elastomer products with an almost colorless and transparent appearance, such as skateboard wheels, rice husking rubber rollers, elastic scrapers, and light-colored PU coatings.
MOCA is also used as a curing agent for epoxy resins.
