Introduction
1,2-Benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one (BIT) is an important industrial bactericide, preservative and mildewproof agent. It has an outstanding effect of inhibiting the growth of mold (fungi, bacteria), algae and other microorganisms in organic media. It solves a series of problems such as mold, fermentation, deterioration, demulsification and odor of organic products caused by the growth of microorganisms.
