Application:
Tetrahydrophthalic anhydride is an excellent organic anhydride epoxy resin curing agent. It is often used as a modifier for unsaturated polyester resins and alkyd resins to improve the adhesion, elasticity, gloss and water resistance of coatings. As a plasticizer, it can improve the cold resistance and heat resistance of PVC and is non-toxic. Tetrahydrophthalic anhydride is also an important intermediate in the synthesis of pesticides and pharmaceuticals.
