Introduction
N,N-Dimethylaminoethyl acrylate (DMAM for short) is an important special methacrylate ester. Since its molecule contains active groups such as vinyl and tertiary amine groups, it can be used to synthesize high molecular weight compounds with active amine groups or quaternary ammonium groups through polymerization reactions. It is widely used in water treatment, papermaking, coatings, pharmaceuticals, oilfield chemicals, adhesives, fiber additives, and plastic and rubber modification.
