Isopropylcyclopentyldimethoxysilane(PCDMOS, Donor-PD)

Introduction

Isopropylcyclopentyldimethoxysilane is a functional organosilane. It can form a strong silicon-oxygen network through hydrolysis and condensation, thereby improving the interfacial bonding and weather resistance of composite materials and coatings. At the same time, the isopropyl and cyclopentyl groups in its molecules may also give it a certain external electron donation effect, which has positive significance for the interface engineering of electronic packaging and semiconductor devices.

Application 

Used to enhance the bonding between inorganic fillers (such as glass fiber, mineral particles) and organic polymers, and improve the mechanical strength, weather resistance and water resistance of composite materials.
Used as a coupling agent in coatings or adhesives to improve the adhesion between the coating and the substrate, and give the product excellent waterproof, heat-resistant and chemical corrosion resistance.
In electronic packaging, by improving the interface bonding between the packaging material and the chip or wire, optimizing the electronic energy level matching, reducing interface defects, and improving the stability and life of the device. Its external electron donor effect helps to regulate the electrical properties of the interface.
