γ-Chloropropyl methyldiethoxy silane

Introduction

γ-Chloropropylmethyldiethoxysilane is an organic silane compound, a colorless or slightly yellow transparent liquid with a stable appearance. It is used to form stable silane bonds on the surface of various inorganic materials, and can also introduce other functional groups through the reactivity of its chloropropyl group. It is often used in interface modification, coupling agent, crosslinking agent and synthesis of functional materials.

Application

It can also be used to synthesize vulcanized rubber with lower permeability, rolling resistance, higher elasticity and elongation. It can be used as bulletproof solid tires in the military. In the plastics industry, it can effectively inhibit the dialysis of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plasticizers, so that PVC can be kept clean and hygienic for a long time. It can be used as an absorbent for polyurethane foam plastics to improve the weather resistance of foam plastics. In the textile industry, it can be made into fabric treatment agents to make fabrics soft and elastic; it can also prevent fabrics from yellowing and improve the dyeing properties of fabrics. In the printing industry, it can be made into negatively charged toners for electrostatic copying, image development, etc.
