Introduction and Application
Metal sulfide cobalt disulfide (CoS2) is currently the most widely used cathode material in lithium-based thermal batteries. It has high specific energy, stable voltage platform, and good compatibility with batteries for daily electrical equipment. It is used in civilian fields such as aircraft emergency power supply, fire alarm power supply, etc., and in military weapons such as various shells, bomb detonations, naval torpedoes, and nuclear weapons.
After continuous research and development experiments in the early stage, the company has formed a unique production technology and process for the preparation of metal sulfides (FeS2 and CoS2) by solid-phase thermal synthesis. The products are of high purity and low impurity content. Among them, Fes2 has the characteristics of long discharge time, large capacity, good thermal stability (initial decomposition temperature above 580℃), and good chemical stability. CoS 2 has the characteristics of good conductivity, large high-temperature capacity, high thermal stability (initial decomposition temperature above 650℃), low resistivity, and strong resistance to high current density. It is an ideal cathode material for lithium-based thermal batteries and has been recognized by the industry. It has large-scale production capacity. Binary and ternary metal sulfides, as positive and negative electrode materials for lithium-ion batteries, have good chemical stability and electrical conductivity. They have important applications in the field of optoelectronic devices and can be customized according to customer needs.
