Introduction
Calcium Stearate, also known as Calcium octadecanoate, is used as a halogen absorber in polyolefins to reduce the corrosion of the product to the processing equipment. At the same time, it can eliminate the adverse effects of the catalysts remaining in the resin on the color and stability of the resin. It can also be widely used to improve the thermal stability of plastics, improve weather resistance, initial coloring and air permeability, and will replace toxic stabilizers with the same performance.
