The uses of hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide are as follows:
1. Used as hair conditioner, softener, bactericide, emulsifier, flocculant, etc.
2. This product is a cationic surfactant. It can be used as a bactericide, to prepare gargles, disinfectants, and intestinal glucose absorption inhibitors. It can also be used as a micellar solubilization spectrophotometric determination reagent.
