Introduction and Application
Methylhydrogensilazane is a polymer whose main chain is composed of Si-N bonds. Due to its special structure, it can be converted into SiCNO, SiCN or silicon dioxide ceramics under high temperature conditions. It is an important precursor for the preparation of Si-C-N ceramics. Si-H bonds provide active sites for silanization and can be used to modify resins containing unsaturated olefins. When combined with methylvinylsilazane, a ceramic precursor with a ceramic yield of more than 75% can be obtained.
Si-N and Si-H bonds are easy to react with hydroxyl-containing substances, and can be used as amine curing agents, and can also modify hydroxyl-containing resins to improve temperature resistance and weather resistance, such as phenolic resins, epoxy resins, alkyd resins, acrylic resins, etc.
Methylhydrogen silazane is widely used in the rubber industry, ceramic industry, etc. For example, in the silicone rubber processing industry, silazane is a good auxiliary agent. They can not only act as a structural optimization control agent but also improve the heat resistance and mechanical strength of the vulcanized rubber. Therefore, silazane is added to other organic synthetic rubber processing industries to improve its thermal stability and mechanical strength.
