β-cyclodextrin is a non-reducing cyclic polysaccharide composed of seven D-pyranose glucopyranose units connected by α-1,4-bonds. It is a white or almost white crystalline solid or crystalline powder, practically odorless and slightly sweet. This product is slightly soluble in water and almost insoluble in methanol, ethanol and acetone.
β-cyclodextrin is a good excipient, flavoring agent, stabilizer, emulsifier, preservative, and quality improver in industrial production. It is widely used in the pharmaceutical industry, food industry, daily chemical industry and other fields to develop and improve product stability and product quality
