Introduction
3,3'-Dimethyl-4,4'-biphenylene diisocyanate is a colorless crystalline solid at room temperature, with a melting point of 70°C and a boiling point of 195–197°C (667 Pa). It is insoluble in water but soluble in organic solvents such as acetone and carbon tetrachloride. It is primarily used in the production of polyurethane elastomers, oil seal materials, and heat-resistant resin modifiers. It must be stored in a cool, dry environment to prevent deterioration. 3,3'-Dimethyl-4,4'-Biphenylene Diisocyanate are white solid particles at room temperature and can be used as a pharmaceutical chemical intermediate.
