Introduction
Chloroalkyl polyphosphate flame retardants are particularly suitable for polyurethane flexible foams. Compared to other flame retardants, they offer high flame retardancy, low fogging, low core char, and low toxicity.
Chloroalkyl polyphosphates are well-suited for passing flame retardancy tests such as California Standard 117, FMVSS 302 for automotive foams, and British Standard 5852 Crib 5.
Chloroalkyl polyphosphates are ideal flame retardants for replacing TDCPP (a carcinogen) and V-6 (which contains the carcinogen TCEP).
