Introduction and Application
Carbon black is an extremely fine carbonaceous powder produced by the incomplete combustion or pyrolysis of hydrocarbons (such as natural gas, coal tar, and petroleum fractions).
Its particle size is very small (typically 10–100 nanometers), resulting in a high surface area and excellent electrical conductivity and coloring properties.
