Introduction
KT-8088 is a biodegradable extreme pressure anti-wear additive containing sulfur and phosphorus. It is primarily used as an extreme pressure anti-wear agent in lubricating greases, especially in the mining, construction, and heavy machinery industries where high load-bearing performance is required. Its performance surpasses most traditional sulfur-phosphorus systems.
KT-8088 exhibits excellent synergistic effects with other extreme pressure anti-wear agents, particularly with MoS2, achieving a sintering load of 800 kg and a Timken OK value of 65 lbs, making it the most effective extreme pressure synergist currently available.
KT-8088 can also be used in water-based metalworking fluids as a substitute for chlorinated paraffin, and is widely applied in extreme pressure greases, hot forging, deep drawing, and other metal processing applications.
