Introduction and Application
1,10-Diaminodecane is an organic compound that appears as white- to pale-yellow crystals or powder, with a density of 0.9 ± 0.1 g/cm³, a melting point of 62°C, and a boiling point of 271.1°C (760 mmHg). It is soluble in ethanol. This substance is corrosive and irritating; its hazard label is GHS05, and safety precautions include rinsing the skin upon contact and emergency eye care measures. It is primarily used in organic synthesis, serving as an intermediate in the production of nylon 1010 and as a curing agent for epoxy resins. It is also used in polymerisation reactions and pharmaceutical purification.
Decanediamine is widely used in long-chain polyamide polymerization (PA1010, PA610, PA10T), as a molecular weight regulator, cross-linking agent, hot melt adhesive, etc.
