Introduction
KT HER is an aromatic diol chain extender with a symmetrical molecular structure. Because the hydroxyethyl group is located at the 1,3-position (meta-position) of the benzene ring, its structural regularity is not as good as its isomer KT HQEE. Its melting point is lower than that of KT HQEE, and its crystallisation rate is slower than that of KT HQEE and KT MOCA. It can improve the phenomenon of crystallisation of KT HQEE molten liquid when the temperature is lowered, and its life in the kettle is longer than that of the butanediol chain extender system, which improves operability.
