Introduction
Tridecafluorooctyltriethoxysilane releases low-molecular alcohols after hydrolysis. The resulting active silanols can chemically bond with hydroxyl groups, carboxyl groups and oxygen-containing groups in many inorganic and organic substrates to form a self-assembled monomolecular fluorosilicone film layer on the surface of inorganic materials.
