Introduction:
Hydroxypropyl methacrylate can be used as an active diluent and crosslinking agent in radiation curing systems, and can also be used as a resin crosslinking agent, plastic and rubber modifier. It can be used to produce thermosetting coatings, adhesives, fiber treatment agents and modifiers for synthetic resin copolymers. It can also be used as one of the main crosslinking functional group monomers used in acrylic resins.
Hydroxypropyl methacrylate can be copolymerized with other acrylic monomers to produce acrylic resins containing active hydroxyl groups. It can be used with melamine formaldehyde resins, diisocyanates, epoxy resins, etc. to produce two-component coatings. This product is also used as an adhesive for synthetic textiles and can also be used as an additive for decontamination lubricants.
