Luminol sodium salt is a chemiluminescent substance with pKa values of 6.74 and 15.1. The fluorescence wavelength is 425 nm. It is often used as a diagnostic tool for forensic blood stain detection and is applied in criminal investigation, bioengineering, chemical tracing and other fields.
