Introduction
3-Ethyl-3-oxetanemethanol is an active diluent for UV-curable material systems. The quaternary oxygen heterocycle it contains has certain photoactivity and can undergo ring-opening polymerization under the initiation of cationic photoinitiators.
Application
It has a very low viscosity at room temperature and has a very good dilution effect on epoxy resin. When combined with epoxy resin, it can increase the toughness, flexibility and impact strength of UV-curable materials, and obtain UV-curable materials with excellent comprehensive performance. It is widely used in epoxy potting materials, casting materials, adhesives, insulation impregnation, floor coatings, etc.
