Introduction
AMPPD is a 1,2-dioxocyclohexane derivative, which is an ultra-sensitive alkaline phosphatase substrate. Its characteristics are: fast reaction speed, providing accurate and reliable results in a very short time. There are two important parts in the molecular structure of AMPPD, one is the dioxy four-membered ring connecting the benzene ring and adamantane, which can break and emit photons; the other is the phosphate group, which maintains the stability of the entire molecular structure. Under normal circumstances, this compound is very stable. However, under the catalytic hydrolysis of alkaline phosphatase (ALP), AMPPD decomposes into AMP-D, which emits a very high intensity light signal, and its luminescence speed depends on the concentration of alkaline phosphatase.
