Introduction 

APS-5 is a chemiluminescent substrate based on 9,10-dihydroacridine. It is mainly used for ELISA detection of compounds conjugated with alkaline phosphatase (ALP). The 9,10-dihydroacridine structure in the APS-5 structure can emit light continuously, stably and efficiently under the action of alkaline phosphatase. APS-5 is very suitable for phosphatase activity solution assay and phosphatase enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.

After the APS-5 reagent is mixed with alkaline phosphatase (ALP), the substrate immediately decomposes and releases photons after the phosphate group of alkaline phosphatase is hydrolyzed. Within a specific alkaline phosphatase concentration range, the number of photons released is proportional to the concentration of alkaline phosphatase in the solution. Therefore, it can be used for the quantitative detection of alkaline phosphatase and the production of (magnetic particle) chemiluminescence antibody detection kits.
