Introduction
Acrylic Acid-2-Acrylamido-2-Methylpropane Sulfonic Acid Copolymer is referred to as AA/AMPS, which is copolymerized with acrylic acid and 2-acrylamide-2-methylpropane sulfonic acid (AMPS).
Because the molecular structure of AA/AMPS contains carboxylic acid groups with good scale inhibition and dispersion performance and strong polar sulfonic acid groups, it can improve calcium tolerance, has a significant scale inhibition effect on calcium phosphate, calcium carbonate, zinc scale, etc. in water, prevents the deposition of iron oxide, and has a high scale inhibition rate for calcium phosphate. And it has excellent dispersion performance.
AA/AMPS is compounded with organic phosphine, and the synergistic effect is obvious. It is particularly suitable for high pH, high alkalinity, and high hardness water quality, and is one of the ideal scale inhibitors and dispersants for achieving high concentration multiples.
AA/AMPS can also be used as a textile printing and dyeing auxiliary; a scale inhibitor for pulp in papermaking systems.
