Hydroxamic acid is an excellent collector with strong collection performance and good selectivity. It has good collection performance for various metal oxides, some difficult-to-select metal oxide minerals and partially oxidized sulfide ores, and has good collection effects on various metal oxide ores such as oxidized copper ore, hematite, yttrium-containing ore, wolframite, scheelite, ilmenite, niobium-containing ore, cassiterite and rare earth minerals. It is also an excellent extractant for metals such as gallium and germanium in non-ferrous metal smelting.
