Introduction and Application
AO 80 is a new type of hindered phenol antioxidant. Compared with traditional hindered phenol antioxidants, it has good effects in inhibiting nitrogen oxide coloring (nitric oxide, nitrogen dioxide) and synergistic effects of thioesters.
AO 80 has a unique bisphenol structure, which makes it less volatile and extractable than monophenol antioxidants, and its stability and anti-aging performance are far superior to traditional antioxidants.
It has good compatibility with most polymers and is suitable for polyamide, polyoxymethylene, polypropylene, and polyurethane materials; in polyurethane coatings, it can effectively prevent the coating from yellowing under high temperature conditions
It has good thermal stability and can provide better color protection for products during high temperature processing
