Introduction and Application
Antioxidant CA is a high-performance hindered phenol antioxidant with a low steric structure. Due to the lack of a tert-butyl group at the ortho position, the steric hindrance is reduced and it has three active functional groups at the same time, so the reaction rate is higher and the antioxidant efficiency is better. It is particularly suitable for polymers with fast oxidation rates such as butadiene and meets the needs of rapid aging tests of products.
It can more effectively remove free radicals; it has excellent anti-migration and extraction resistance and color stability; it is used for polymers containing unsaturated bonds such as ABS and elastomers.
It is mainly used in polyolefin plastics including LDPE, HDPE, and PP. CA can be used as an efficient stabilizer for plasticizers in flexible PVC materials.
It has a very good synergistic effect on thioester and phosphite synergists. It can be used in HIPS, ABS and MBS, etc.
It also has excellent anti-aging properties in hot melt adhesives and styrene copolymers.
