Introduction
Ascorbyl palmitate is an oil-soluble derivative of ascorbic acid. It is a potent antioxidant and is stable at neutral pH.
It has all the physiological activities of vitamin C. It can play the role of anti-inflammatory, reduce melanin production, promote collagen synthesis, prevent and control hyperpigmentation caused by trauma, sunburn, acne, etc. It can whiten the skin, maintain the elasticity of the skin, reduce wrinkles, improve the phenomenon of roughness, pallor, flaccidity, etc.; and slow down the skin's natural aging and photo-aging, and it is a kind of highly effective antioxidant and oxygen free radical scavenger.
