Introduction
Avobenzone belongs to the benzophenone class of UV absorbers and is a good UVA (＞320nm) type UV absorber that can block UVA in the entire band (320～Chemicalbook400nm). It is a highly efficient, broad-spectrum, oil-soluble UVA filter. When combined with other UVB sunscreens, it can provide full UVA and UVB protection and is used to prevent photoinduced skin cancer.
