Introduction and Application
Properties:White cubic crystals, relative density 4.83, melting point 1354°C. Slightly soluble in water, soluble in hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, acetic acid and hydrofluoric acid.
Uses:Used in metal heat treatment, ceramics, enamel, glass manufacturing, metallurgy, and instrumentation industry; manufacturing motor brushes, optical glass, optical fibers, laser generators, and used as a wood preservative and insecticide.
