Introduction
Bisoctrizole, also known as methylene bis-benzotriazolyl tetramethylbutylphenol, is a benzotriazole compound widely used in sunscreens to absorb UV rays (protection band 280-400nm). It is a broad-spectrum UV absorber that can effectively absorb UVB and UVA rays. This compound can also reflect and scatter UV rays, so it is a mixed UV absorber. It has a synergistic effect when combined with other sunscreens and is suitable for high PA value sunscreens.
