Introduction

Butyl ester of epoxy fatty acids(EBST) is a light yellow or yellow oily liquid at room temperature. When the temperature is below 10°C, a little condensate will precipitate. The viscosity is 18.3mPa.s (25°C), the refractive index is 1.4560-1.4570 (20°C), it is soluble in organic solvents such as chloroform, ether, ketone, benzene, and higher alcohols, and it is insoluble in water. This product is a plasticizer and stabilizer for polyvinyl chloride. Because it has a unique epoxy group, it can greatly reduce the decomposition, brittleness and coking of polyvinyl chloride resin caused by heating and climate during processing and use. It has good thermal stability, cold resistance, weather resistance and light stability. It has good compatibility with polyvinyl chloride, fast plasticization speed, lower plasticization temperature than DOP, and high plasticization efficiency. It also has lubricity and can improve the handling performance of the batch. Adding a certain proportion of this product to the product can keep the product tough and soft at low temperature, increase the gloss of the product, and extend the service life of the product. The general dosage is 5-10 parts.
