Introduction
Di-tertbutoxy-diacetoxysilane is an organic silicon compound, a colorless or light yellow transparent liquid. It will cross-link when in contact with water and produce acetic acid. It is often used as an adhesion promoter for silicone rubber.

Application
Di-tertbutoxy-diacetoxysilane is used as an adhesion promoter for deacidified room temperature curing silicone rubber, replacing ethyl triacetoxy silane and mixed with methyl triacetoxy silane. In addition to avoiding crystallization, the tensile strength, bonding strength and elongation of the RTV silicone rubber obtained are greatly improved. This product can be used to prepare high-end deacidified RTV silicone rubber such as acid structural adhesive and large plate glass adhesive.
