Introduction
UV absorber UV-400 is a liquid hydroxyphenyl triazine UV absorber that can absorb 280-380 nanometer ultraviolet light, with absorption peaks at 293 nanometers and 342 nanometers. It has the characteristics of good compatibility, low volatility, good dispersibility, low migration, good thermal stability, and high absorption efficiency. It is suitable for high-performance and high-durability automotive coatings, industrial coatings, wood coatings, water-based coatings, solvent coatings, amine-catalyzed coatings, and metal-catalyzed coatings.
UV absorber UV-400 is used in conjunction with UV292 and UV123 to significantly improve performance and inhibit coating loss, discoloration, cracking, and delamination. The general dosage is 1-3%.
Application
Applicable to: industrial paints and automotive paints with high performance and durability requirements (applicable to water-based, solvent-based and 100% solid conditions). It is a UV absorber that has no cross-reaction with other components in the system and is specially developed for amine-catalyzed or metal-catalyzed curing coating systems.
