Product Details
Introduction
Same effect as EpodL-749, G78, JX-022, Epoxy 678, this product is formed by the dehydration reaction of neopentyl glycol and epichlorohydrin. It has no irritating odor, a boiling point greater than 150 °C, and contains two epoxy groups in the molecule. When cured, it participates in the reaction to form chains and networks. The dilution effect is equivalent to that of monoglycidyl ether. However, the mechanical properties such as tensile strength, flexural strength, compressive strength, impact strength and the adaptation period of the cured resin are better than those of the resin cured by monoglycidyl ether.
Application
As an active diluent for epoxy resin, it can reduce the reactivity of epoxy resin and curing agent under the same temperature conditions. It is widely used in flooring, solvent-free coatings, lamination, adhesives, transparent epoxy systems and epoxy systems for electrical casting. As a cellulose finishing agent, it can increase the flexibility, fastness, alkali resistance, dyeability, etc. of cellulose, and can be used for finishing of cotton, linen, wool and silk fabrics. It can increase the tensile strength of fibers.
