Application
KT-80 resin (ATL-95) is a low molecular weight homopolymer resin obtained by reacting α-methylstyrene as raw material. It is widely used in plastic, rubber processing and adhesive and coating production.
KT-80 is an excellent PVC processing aid. It can reduce the processing material temperature, reduce the material melt viscosity, shorten the plasticization time, and greatly improve the fluidity of PVC. It improves processing performance, improves the finish of the product, makes the product feel smooth and dense, and reduces shear stress. It increases the extrusion volume by 5-10%, thereby improving efficiency and reducing energy consumption. It can greatly increase the amount of filler without affecting processing performance and product strength. When mixed with ACR, it not only has a good synergistic effect, but also can significantly reduce costs.
KT-80 and organic tin stabilizer can produce products with good transparency. KT-80 is non-toxic, has good aging resistance and electrical insulation, and is widely used in the production of PVC pipes, profiles, sheets, films (twist films, heat shrink films), non-toxic bottle granules (beverage bottles, cosmetic bottles) and injection molded parts for the electrical industry.
KT-80 can improve the processing and use performance of SBS, and is used in the production of thermoplastic elastic SBS shoe material granules; KT-80 has good bonding performance and can be widely used in adhesive formulations. In shoe material formulations, it can improve the bonding strength between the sole and the upper; KT-80 can adjust the hardness of chloroprene rubber, nitrile polyvinyl chloride blends and natural rubber, and improve the tear resistance and wear resistance of vulcanized rubber; coatings with KT-80 have outstanding transparency, brightness and weather resistance; in addition, KT-80 also has the function of ultraviolet light absorber. The addition amount of KT-80 generally does not exceed 3%;
