Introduction
3-Chloropropyltrimethoxysilane (US Union Carbide trade name A-143) is a new type of plastic and rubber silane coupling agent. It can be used to improve the adhesion of epoxy resin, polystyrene and other polymers to glass fiber. It can also be used to synthesize a variety of γ-substituted propyltrimethoxysilane coupling agents.

Application
