Introduction
KT810 Tert-butyl glycidyl carbonate (E10P) is a monoepoxy ester compound, in which the monoepoxy group can react with carboxyl, hydroxyl and amino groups containing active hydrogen, and can be copolymerized with other types of polymers. Tert-butyl glycidyl carbonate has a special multi-branched aliphatic structure, which can protect the polymer chain itself and the ester bonds of adjacent monomers from hydrolysis through steric hindrance, improve the water resistance of the polymer, and at the same time improve the solvent resistance, acid and alkali resistance, UV resistance and other properties of the polymer.
Application
It is mainly used in coatings, paints, dyes and other industries, and can also be used to produce automotive primers, topcoats and repair paints.
