Introduction

3-(N-cyclohexylamino)propyltrimethoxysilane is a monoaminosilane, which has an active primary amino functional group and three hydrolyzable oxygen silicon groups (methoxy groups) in its molecular structure. This dual reactivity allows them to improve the bonding, adhesion and compatibility between inorganic materials (glass, metal, filler) and organic polymers (thermosetting resins, plastics, elastomers) through a two-way chemical reaction, thereby improving the mechanical properties of resin-based composite materials or improving the bonding strength and water resistance of resin coatings. In different applications, they can be used as coupling agents, adhesion promoters, curing agents, surface modifiers for pigments and fillers, etc.

Application 

1. It can be used as an adhesion promoter for sealants, adhesives and coatings;
2. It can be used as an additive or formulated into a primer for phenolic, urea-formaldehyde, furan, polyurethane, silicone, epoxy, nitrile, phenolic, acrylic and other coatings, inks, adhesives and sealants to improve the adhesion, corrosion resistance, weather resistance, water boiling resistance and scrub resistance of the resin coating, extend the service life, and improve the dispersion and bonding of pigments and fillers in the resin phase.
