Introduction
Light stabilizer UV292 is a liquid hindered amine light stabilizer with the function of capturing free radicals generated by ultraviolet light. It inhibits the coating from losing gloss, discoloration, cracking, and delamination, and improves the durability of the coating.
Light stabilizer UV292 is suitable for automotive coatings, industrial coatings, wood coatings, water-based coatings, polyester resins, polyurethane resins, phenolic resins, alkyd resins, vinyl resins, thermoplastic acrylic resins, thermosetting acrylic resins, and light-curing acrylic resins. Dispersion in water-based systems can be obtained by dissolving in aqueous solvents such as diethylene glycol diethyl ether.
Light stabilizer UV292 is used in conjunction with ultraviolet absorber UV1130 to significantly improve the weather resistance of the coating.
For varnish and metal paint, it is recommended to add 0.5%-1% of UV292; 1%-3% of UV1130.
For single-layer color paint, add 1%-2% of UV292 alone; or add 1%-2% of UV1130.
Application
Applicable to: automotive coatings, industrial coatings, wood coatings, etc.
Dosage: 0.5-2.0%, the specific amount is determined according to customer application tests.
