Application
Propylene glycol monobutyl ether: mainly used as a heavy scale cleaner. It can dissolve and couple oils and fats extremely well, making it suitable for both household and industrial formulations. Partially water-soluble, can solubilize most solvents. The specific applications are as follows:
① Coupling agents and solvents for household and industrial cleaning agents, grease and paint removers, metal cleaning agents, and hard surface cleaning agents;
② Effective coupling agents and solvents for water reducing coatings;
③ Effective setting agent for water-based latex coatings;
④ Active solvents for solvent based coatings;
⑤ Chemical intermediates for the production of esters, solvents, and plasticizers.
