Introduction
N-Octadecylmethyldichlorosilane is a low-volatile organic silicon compound with good stability and thermal stability. It is soluble in non-polar solvents such as petroleum ether, benzene and carbon tetrachloride. It can react with water to generate silanol and hydrogen chloride.
