Ethylene tetrafluoroethylene (ETFE) CAS 65324-12-1
Category:
Product Description
Product Details
Introduction
ETFE is the toughest fluoroplastic. While maintaining the good heat resistance, chemical resistance and electrical insulation properties of PTFE, it has greatly improved radiation resistance and mechanical properties. The tensile strength can reach 50MPa, which is nearly twice that of polytetrafluoroethylene.
Physical and chemical properties
Translucent particles or white powder. The molecular weight is about 500000-1000000. Standard specific gravity is 1.72-1.76, melting point is 255-260 ℃, melting index (297 ℃, 5kg) is 4-40g / 10min. The maximum continuous use temperature is 180 ℃.
Application
The melt of this product has excellent flowability and is suitable for the production of wires, cables, pipes and various electronic and electrical components, as well as films, wire and cable sheaths and pipes. It can also be used as lining materials for equipment such as valves, pumps and containers.
