Application
Isobornyl methacrylate is an organic polymerization monomer with high chemical reactivity. It can be used in the industrial preparation of heat-resistant organic sheets, optical fibers, adhesives, silk-screen ink carriers, modified powder coatings, clean coatings, high-solid low-viscosity coatings, etc. This substance can also be used as an active diluent and a toughness-modifying monomer for resins to improve the dispersion of resins on pigments. In the acrylic resin formula, this substance can effectively reduce the viscosity of the polymer solution. Among various cyclic monomers, isobornyl methacrylate has a significant effect in reducing the viscosity.
