Introduction

Fusible Polytetrafluoroethylene(PFA) has fluidity after high temperature sintering and is mainly used for injection molding of chemical parts. The use temperature is generally within 220°C. PFA has the same excellent properties as polytetrafluoroethylene and has good thermoplasticity. It can be thermoplasticized using the processing methods of ordinary thermoplastic resins.

Physical and chemical properties

Translucent particles or white powder .Molecular weight is 200000-500000, melting point is 300-310 ℃, friction coefficient is 0.05 (static friction coefficient, and steel grinding), specific gravity is 2.12-2.17, and melting index is 0.8-30. Long term use temperature 260 ℃。

Application

It can be used for pipes, pumps, valves, plates, tank linings, diaphragms, joints, bearing parts. It can also be used to manufacture pipes, wire insulation layers, films and various electronic components. Among extrusion processing raw materials, it is mainly used for cable insulation wires, multi-core cable sheaths, etc.
