Introduction
Ethyleneglycol dimethacrylate (EGDMA) is a chemical substance that is insoluble in water but soluble in some organic solvents. It has weather resistance, chemical resistance, high hardness, heat resistance and wear resistance. It has low viscosity and high boiling point.

Application
Ethyleneglycol dimethacrylate has the characteristics of high boiling point, low viscosity and low chroma. It is mainly used in plastic and rubber industries as a crosslinking agent for ethylene-acrylic acid copolymers, ABS, acrylic sheets and pipes, glass fiber reinforced polyester, PVC, ion exchange resins, smokeless powder coating polymerization, glazing, etc. The polymers copolymerized with it have increased hardness, heat resistance, weather resistance, solvent resistance and friction resistance. It is also used in artificial marble, dental materials, emulsion copolymers, papermaking, rubber peroxide hardening modifiers, adhesives, inks, and crosslinking agents for optical polymers.
